AAUW (the American Association of University Women) is a national organization dedicated to supporting societal equity for women and girls. For over 130 years, AAUW has worked to improve the status of women through advocacy, research, education, and philanthropy.
The Shoreline Branch of AAUW is over 60 years old and supports national scholarships through the AAUW Education Opportunity Fund, which awards fellowships and grants to women pursuing advanced academic degrees.

Other Scholarships
The Shoreline Branch also sponsors students from colleges participating in our state College and University program to attend AAUW’s annual National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL) held at the University of Maryland. This is an annual conference that focuses on advocacy, health, and wellness, while building leadership skills in women allowing them to succeed on campus, within the community, and in their careers.
